How does pricing work?

You're billed per client, not per advisor seat, not per month. One credit covers a client and every tax year you hold for them, dependants included, up to seven years, so a couple's household report takes two credits whether you upload one year each or six; year eight and later bill one credit each. Composing a household from clients you have already paid for is free. Single credits are $50 each; a 40-client pack is $1,000, which works out to $25 a client. Past $1,000, enterprise pricing is custom, just reach out. No subscription. Credits never expire; buy more when you need them.

Do I pay again for each tax year?

Accepted Answer

No. A credit buys the filer, not the filing. Once a client's T1 is paid for, every other year you hold for them is included at no further cost, up to seven tax years in all, and those seven do not have to be recent or consecutive. Past the seventh, each further year bills a single credit rather than being refused, and re-uploading a PDF already on file is always free. It means you never have to decide which year is worth analyzing. Upload what you have, pick any year on the report to read that filing, and let the carryforward balances (unused RRSP room, capital and non-capital losses, tuition) come off the returns that actually carry them. Dependants cost nothing, and a corrected or amended return for a client you have already paid for is free while they are inside those seven years. A corporation is priced the same way on its own credit: one credit for the company, every fiscal year you upload for it included on the same seven-year terms. That is why an incorporated client comes to two credits, one for the T1 and one for the T2.
